The fire alarms in the studio were updated recently, and new wiring had to be put in. Chris Webb, another painter in the studio was standing with the sparky staring at my rather eclectic collection of vases, sculpture, props and knick-knackery that fills a rather large shelf in the studio. This stuff was supposed to be moved so he could wire up the new alarms.

I got a text from Chris informing me that my decorative objects of uncertain value, no longer needed to be moved. A solution had been found, they’d go round the shelf. And such is the path of least resistance.
